Steven D. Mank graduated from Washburn University School of Law
in 1985. He was a Sedgwick County Defender from 1986 until 1988.
He then began private practice with Bush, Johnson and also maintained
a position as a public defender for the City of Wichita until 1996,
when he entered private practice.
Steve
is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, a member
of the Wichita and Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas and National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Steves
practice consists of representing people charged with crimes from
traffic matters to homicide in Municipal, State, and Federal Courts.
He has developed a practice in juvenile law and has been a speaker
at multiple seminars regarding juvenile law practice and procedure.
He has successfully argued before the Kansas Court of Appeals and
Supreme Court with favorable results in both. Having attained favorable
results for citizens accused of various crimes, Steve has obtained
the respect of law enforcement personnel as well, who often to Steve
for representation.
